We genuinely want to be recognised as a great place to work and as an organisation that provides excellent development and career opportunities and strives to ensure that employees feel highly motivated, empowered, engaged and valued.
The people strategy promises each and every Coloplast employee that:
Coloplast Limited is an equal opportunities employer and positively encourages applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates regardless of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, religion or belief, marital status, or pregnancy and maternity.
Corporate Social Responsibility
At Coloplast, responsibility has always been an important part of our way of doing business. As a manufacturer of intimate health care products, we know that our success rests on our ability to listen to users and the trust that we build with our customers by acting responsibly.
We believe it is important to be active within our global and local community. Here is a flavour of just some of the activities we are involved in:
We are the proud sponsors of the Great Britain Wheelchair Rugby Coloplast Super Series. Coloplast has worked with GBWR for a number of years because we wish to give people with disabilities an opportunity to play sport at a high level and because wheelchair rugby is a very competitive and exciting sport.
Coloplast works very hard to build close relationships with complementary charities such as the Spinal Injuries Association. We also choose a specific charity to support through staff fundraising activities. This year's designated charity is Spinal Injuries Together.
In addition, we are involved with some fundraising activities for the Matt Hampson Foundation which will be our designated charity next year.
So do we deliver?
Sue Frost MPhil, RGN
"I am really grateful that Coloplast funded my Master of Philosophy at the University of Birmingham. In particular I would like to thank Sue Kernahan, who recognised my passion for bowel cancer prevention and supported the theme of 'Healthy bowel awareness in the workplace'.
"I have just completed my Post Graduate CIM, which has been a fantastic and great opportunity. I have learned a lot and it has been really relevant to my job. It is a great personal achievement and Coloplast supported me not only financially but by allowing me time off to study and take my exams. I would never have done it without this support."
